Starlight Entertainment Promotions, Inc. has been formed to promote the finest music entertainment from the early years of country western, doo-wop, soul and rock-n-roll. "They may not be on the charts, but they are still in our hearts."


JDJD Micals was born in Oklahoma and raised in a military family. He served in the United States Marine Corps and began writing poetry and songs at an early age. JD spent many years in Nashville as a songwriter and working in production studios. Some of the artists that he has worked with include Johnny Russell, Charlie Walker, Del Reeves, Johnny Paycheck, Randy Owens and Alabama, Doug Stone, Warner Mack, Conway Twitty, Kitty Wells, Jeannie Seely, Billy "Crash" Craddock, Dolly Parton, and Vern Gosdin to name a few. After moving to Greenville, SC, JD started the Hollywood Starlight Show to feature the classic country music not heard on today's commercial radio. In 2008, he partnered with Sheila Miles on the radio show and together they formed Starlight Entertainment Promotions, Inc. Since start-up, they have worked with The Oak Ridge Boys, The Bellamy Brothers, Billy Joe Royal, Ronnie McDowell, Gene Watson, Leon Everette, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd, and Ritchie McDonald.

SheilaSheila Miles is a registered nurse with a background in business administration. In 2002, Sheila founded Southeastern Research Associates, Inc. a clinical research company that specializes in conducting clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies. She has served on numerous boards and committees with emphasis on healthcare and business. Sheila currently sits on the board of Hi-R-Ed Online University of Chicago and the Piedmont Mental Health Board. Sheila has spoken at the local, state and national levels on healthcare and management issues. Her expertise extends to working with legislators on various issues. Sheila has published articles on healthcare topics, nursing administrative topics, software implementation and various business management topics. In 2008, she partnered with JD Micals on the Hollywood Starlight Honky Tonk show and together they formed Starlight Entertainment Promotions, Inc. to bring classic entertainment to South Carolina and the surrounding areas.
